Do you know that men like Romeo don’t exist these days?
Do you know that no one is fighting or dying for love…
Romance is weak or almost dead!
There are no surprising visits to the balcony or serenades!
Romeo easily leaves Juliet without the need to explain...
Everyone is so independent in their relationships
that love feels lonely as an unnecessary decoration or element!
Thank you… at least we can still experience that old school romanticism and passion through your imaginary words and events!

PoetiKonstellation Thoughts:
Today is a good sunny day, the birds are happy! The task was to write a poem to Shakespeare. PoetiKonstellation decided to write him a letter style poem. What would Shakespeare’s writings look like today? This poem doesn’t mean that true love doesn’t exist or that PoetiKonstellation doesn’t believe in it. But if you watch the movies, read the books and the social media posts, you’ll see that old school romanticism may still exist but it is very rare. Perhaps, the gestures of love are seen as shame or weakness by many. Eternal love is like an expensive diamond. Perhaps, people have fears to express their feelings for two reasons. First, they are afraid of inadequate reaction from the other person; nobody wants to seem embarrassed. Second, they have fears to expose their feelings because they think it would make them vulnerable. Everything has to be under control. No risks are allowed. But love doesn’t like to be controlled, love loves (smile) brave people who take risks and do amazing things for it! Do you agree? Do you think true love needs heart-shaped postcards with beautiful words and flowers or do you think that love needs yield-curves and spreadsheets? Well, we all have a different understanding of love, perhaps we just need to find the one who matches our idea of it! Peace and love! Love is beauty! Dream, laugh and love!
